T'was the Night Before Christmas

T'was the the night before Christmas and all thru the house every creature was stirring, even the mouse.
The Candles were lit and the table adorned with a perfect Prime Rib and food galore.
The children and dogs were bouncing off the walls and doors.
New Christmas PJs for the children were put on, "The Christmas Sweater" was read by Grandpa then the singing and dancing to "All I want for Christmas is You" began and yes there was dancing on the table before we even began drinking egg nog.
Letters for Santa were written and a plate of cookies prepared. Oats and cranberrys were put out for Santas reindeer,
And Finally the children were all snuggled in their beds while Santa and his helpers partied on.
WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
PS, McKayl and Brooklyn found hoof prints and reindeer droppings in the snow
SANTA IS REAL!

Happy Birthday Stacy and Braxton

Catching up

Well it has been awhile since I blogged so here is a quick catch up. The 1st of October we went to Cedar City to see my sisters and went to a play at the Tuchacan Theater in St. George. Two weeks later we went to SLC and watched Dans nephew football game then went to Price to see our Parents. Two weeks after that we were in Price for Dans parents 50th wedding anniversary on November 14 and it was also Kaysons Birthday. Then for Thanksgiving we did the very non-tradition thing and went to Zions National park, stayed at a lodge, ate at a buffet and went for a hike. There was no cooking and no clean up. It was different but warm and fun. Friday we went to the Temple in St. George and that night we went to the movie "The Blind Side". Great Movie!

Adrienne and the kids were up for a week and oh what fun we had! We made popcorn from the Indian corn I grew and we were all so excited when it really popped. The girls helped me seal all the nuts, craisins and raisins I had ordered and they said they were grandmas squrrels helping her store her nuts. Braxton and Mckinley came to play and we made scarecrows, carmeled apples, danced to the monster mash, carved pumpkins with their Dads, ate pizza, went tricker treating, had our halloween dinner with witches brew. What a day! What a night! What a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

Trip to Salt Lake and Price

We headed to Utah for Danny's (Dan's nephew) last football game, I can't beleive he is a senior! We had a great time watching the game and visiting with family. Saturday we headed to Price to see our parents and get some pictures of Dan's parents with the great grandkids and of their home. It was a fast trip but very good. Sunday we loaded up Adrienne and the kids and came home for a week of FUN!
