I don't think I will plant the garden today

April is going out like a lion and I hope May is going to come in like a lamb.

Spring work

Dan has been busy tilling the garden and flower beds so when that next sunny day comes we can plant. I started some tomato and pepper seeds and they are really growing. My daffodils are blooming and the trees are starting to leaf out, it is so exciting! I love spring!

Springs first delights

Easter Trip to St. George

Dan and I headed south in search of sunshine but the snow, wind and rain like us to much and seemed to follow us everywhere we went. We found the best sunshine though, our family! We had a great visit with Sherry and Robert in Cedar City and then had so much fun with Mike and Jess in St. George. We braved the weather and went camping in Zions, it was so much fun. Nice fire, dutch oven cooking, good tent and a heater and great company! And quess who are camping neighbors were? Our dear friends and old neighbors Craig and Martha Davis from Vegas. Jessica came home with us Sunday for a visit. We painted apartments Monday and Tuesday, I about worked Jess to death. I couldn't have done it without her. Thanks Jess!!!!!

The birds are still singing

When I got home from the temple this morning it had snowed 3 inches and everything was beautiful and white, the trees all frosted. The trees in our back yard were filled with Robins and little finches and they were just chirpping away and as happy as could be. Depspite the snow they are still singing and a promise of spring is is in the air! The other day we had our little cottontail bunny make an appearance and a cute little family of birds strolled the yard and yesturday we had a pheasant. I Love It
