This past weekend Adrienne and Darren came home for Fathers Day. Friday night we made tin foil dinners, toasted marshmellows and had a great time. Saturday we went to Harrimon and went fishing and riding horses and had a picnic. Adrienne and Darren had to go home Saturday because Darrens Grandmother wasn't doing well at all and they expected her to pass away so they had to leave but we sure enjoyed them while they were here. Hope all the Fathers had a wonderful Fathers Day!!!!

I Love to see the Temple

I serve in the Laundry in the Temple on Friday mornings at 6:00. In the early hours of the morning when town is so quiet and it is just starting to get light the view of the temple is so majestic and breath taking. Sometimes I just stop in one of the college parking lots and sit and take in the beauty, love and peace it radiates. I Love the Temple, I am so grateful to have one in Rexburg, it is a powerful and beautiful reminder of the Saviors love and his plan for us.

My Dog Rambo

Let me introduce you to my dog Rambo. When we got him for Christmas he was so mild and calm I thought Rambo just does not fit him, IT FITS HIM! He is the chewing king of all chewers. From the drip system in the front flower bed to all most all the outdoor cuchions. Dan thought a bag of fertilizer would be safe, oh no. If it is down it gets chewed. We put up gates on the deck so he can not get up there and dig in my flowers and eat the only cuchion left, so he took over my flower pot in the front entry way, I don't think I will plant flowers in that one. He leaves his toys all over the yard, his favorite being his football and his stuffed puppy(or I should say unstuffed). He is just like a kid; sweet, adorable, spoiled and a terror and we love the darn mutt!

Memorial Day weekend is always special as we honor and remember those who have passed on and who we miss and love dearly. My sister Pam and I always clean up the graves and put the flowers out. We have a great heritage and I am grateful for all those that have gone before and the lives they lived.
We had three nephews graduate from High School: Danny, Damon, and Devin. Congratulations Guys! They are all fine young men. Damon has his mission call to the Philippines and will leave in August.
Dan's niece Jamie and family came up Monday and visited, it was so great to have them and to see their new little girl. Dan and I went on a small horse ride to the sand dunes with our friends Kathryn and Terrell and I did survived and had a good time. Thank goodness for hot tubs, my arm gets so sore from the death grip I have on the saddle horn.
