Summer Fun

Lots has been happenin at the Hanna house the last couple of weeks! Grandkids and nieces and nephews livin things up and we have a had a great time. We had a cupcake birthday party for Adalyn, one night we made a tin foil dinners and roasted marshmellows, we had a great time at the spray park and rode the carousel. The kids wait all day for grandpa (uncle Dan) to get home so they can ride the horses. They ride grandmas four wheeler (the lawn mower), it is great entertainment for all of them. They love to pick carrots out of the garden and feed them to the horses. Bridger is facinated at the amount of time I spend in the garden (it is rather an obsession) I do love it! Dan had his closing social for the college ward here. Kevin Virgin cooked a whole (the WHOLE) pig and they had roasted corn on the cob and had a big bon fire which got the attention of alot of people! we had cops and a fire truck come to the party, it was great. They canoed on the river, played volleyball and some stayed very late and roasted marshmellows. The kids helped Dan get ready and tested out the archery station and even helped the college students get started while Dan was down at the river getting a canoe unstuck. Dan, Taylor, Bridger and I went on a horse ride to devils staircase ( I hiked while they rode)It was Bridgers first real horse ride in the mountains and he did fabulous and so did Taylor! We had a fun day hanging out with Dan. On the 25th we went to the St. Anthony parade (which I love) one of my favorite things was the Broulims huge shopping cart. I told Taylor and Lacy that at our parades were the best because they hand out chocolate milk and they did. We then went to West Yellowstone and went to the playmill (The secret Garden). I have been going to the playmill since I was a little girl and still love it. Taylor agrees with me now and says it is a summers must! We then went to the Discovery center and checked out the wolves and bears and learned lots. On the way home we were treated by a spectacular sunset and as we went by St. Anthony we even got fireworks, what a great Day! So now I am caught up for now but more adventures await us this next week.
